BEFORE USE - All of our sound modules come with default sounds that are great for testing your unit. (besides the FN-BC20-BO)   We recommend before you put any sounds on the board to test it, some sound files can have odd attributes that could cause the board to not work properly. 

TESTING - When testing your board with the default sounds, or our test sounds if you already deleted them, you should always double check your power and speaker connections and check for stray wires that may be shorting between the terminals.  Double check your power supply is actually outputting a voltage within the boards range.  It can also be beneficial to make your unit as "simple" to test it first, so many times I do not use a button and will instead use metal tweezers or a paperclip to short the ground and trigger terminal (also the thought behind keeping the default sounds to test)
