How loud is the music at a party, or your stereo, or an airplane flying over your house? This pocket-sized VU meter tells you: a built-in, highly sensitive microphone drives five red LEDs that move in time with the music, and the sensitivity is adjustable.
The soldering kit comes with a designer enclosure and an on/off switch, and runs on a 3 V CR2032 button cell (not included). To build it you need a soldering iron, solder and pliers.
