FAQ for FN-BC10S MP3 Player Sound Board with 25W×2 Stereo Amplifier (FN-BC10S-P / FN-BC10S-N)
Q1: What speaker impedance works with the FN-BC10S? Will 4 ohm or 8 ohm speakers work?
A1: Yes. 4 ohm speakers will work okay with this board, including the 25W / 4 ohm speaker we sell. 8 ohm speakers will also work.
Q2: What is the difference between FN-BC10S-N and FN-BC10S-P?
A2: The boards are the same MP3 player sound board with 25W×2 amplifier; the difference is the button-control trigger polarity.
FN-BC10S-N is the negative trigger version: trigger sound by completing the circuit between the button and ground. It can also be activated with a low-level signal (0V) from a PLC or controller (share ground with the player).
FN-BC10S-P is the positive trigger version: trigger sound by completing the circuit between the button and positive voltage in. It can also be activated with a high-level signal (12–24V) from a PLC or controller (share ground with the player).
See the User Manual V1.0 (current) sections on Negative Trigger and Positive Trigger connections.
Q3: What power supply voltage and current does the FN-BC10S need?
A3: From the FN-BC10S User Manual V1.0 technical parameters:
- Working voltage: DC 12V–24V
- Working current: ≥4500mA @12V (when it has two 25W speakers, and external load/warning light is not connected)
- Working current: ≥2250mA @24V (when it has two 25W speakers, and external load/warning light is not connected)
- Power consumption: ≤50W (external load/warning light not included)
- Output current to an external load/warning light: ≤1000mA
