This 2x20 male header gives you the standard 40-pin Raspberry Pi GPIO connector. It is especially handy for the Raspberry Pi Zero, which usually comes with its GPIO pins unpopulated. The pins are spaced at 0.1" (2.54mm), matching the pinout and dimensions of a full-size Raspberry Pi.
The header is through-hole: press it into place and solder the pins for a solid connection. Once it is fitted, you can plug in HATs, add-on boards or your own circuits.
