The KTA-387 is our updated low-profile Modbus data logger. It is equipped with 2 configurable RS-485 serial ports which can act as either a master or slave independently. It will log up to 100 channels and is configurable on a mobile phone or PC via a user-friendly webpage.

Note: Battery for RTC is not included (CR1225).

The KTA-387 Modbus Data logger is an easy to use solution when data from one or two Modbus networks need to be recorded.

The device works as either a Modbus Master, polling slave devices for register data, or a Modbus Slave, with another master writing to it. In both cases the data is recorded as a plain text CSV (Comma Separated Values) file, along with an accurate timestamp to a Micro SD card.

See downloads for full documentation in the manual.

Micro SD and Micro SDHC cards are both supported, provided they are formatted as FAT16 or FAT32.

All configuration is done via a webpage that the KTA-387 will host under a Wi-Fi access point. Details on how to use the webpage and access this AP are in the manual.
