This S-type load cell (also called a strain gauge) converts up to 200kg of force into an electrical signal. Its electrical resistance changes in proportion to the strain applied, so you can weigh an object, track how its weight changes over time, or simply detect when something is placed on a surface.
The body is made of alloy steel and carries four strain gauges wired in a Wheatstone bridge. The load cell is rated IP66 and has two M4 and two M5 through-holes for mounting.
