Description: This is a simple to use light sensor that essentially is an LDR (light dependent resistor) in an enclosure. It has 1.5m ohms resistance in the dark and about .5k ohms in light. This is the same sensor used on our USB6M sound recorder and it's great for any project that needs a little "discrepancy" added to the light sensor because the enclosure really helps keep out unwanted light.
