A universal temperature sensor kit for measuring indoor and outdoor temperatures, controlling heating or cooling of rooms and equipment, monitoring process temperatures, putting a temperature readout on your website or checking your pool's temperature.
The sensor uses a 3-wire current loop (GND, +V and OUT) with a 0 ~ 20mA output, which gives excellent noise immunity. For a voltage input, place a resistor between OUT and GND: 250 Ω with a 12VDC supply gives 0 ~ 5V, and 500 Ω with a 15VDC supply gives 0 ~ 10V. The LM335 sensor can be mounted on the board or up to 1 m away on shielded cable, and only one adjustment is needed.
