Telephone Line Switcher II

This device connects to the telephone line and can be used to remotely control up to 4 relay outputs using a DTMF (tone dialing) telephone. A number of user settings are available to improve the useability and security of the device. The kit comes complete with a small plastic case with silk-screened front and rear panels.
The unit is controlled by an Atmel 89C2051 microcontroller. Source code is not available.

Connects to the PC serial port and provides an easy to use interface for connecting and controlling stepper motors by your PC. You can multidrop up to 4 interface cards off the 1 RS232 serial line so you can control up to a total of 16 stepper motors.

You simply write ascii commands through the PC's serial port to the card to control each of the stepper motors. A free PC program (source code in VB is included) is provided so that you can execute a number of commands and repeat the process

Examples of the commands are

    @01 AMOV 1000 2000 n 4000 do an absolute move of stepper 1,2 and 4 to positions 1000, 2000 and 4000
    @01 AMOV 2000 do an absolute move of stepper 1 to position 2000
    @02 RMOV -400 do a relative move of stepper 2 400 steps backwards
    @03 POSN 10000 indicate stepper 3 is at position 1000
    @04 STOP stop stepper 4
    @01 STAT   card sends the status of motors 1 to 4 whether they are moving or not and status of limit switches.

Positions can be between -99999999 and 99999999 steps. The user can also set the acceleration and deceleration rates when starting and ending a sequence of steps. Limit switch inputs are available for each of the motors to prevent motors moving out of range.

Description: Based on the feedback of previous generations, This new third-generation powerline communication modem product consists of a PLC-UART motherboard, a UART-RS232 daughter board, a UART-RS485 daughter board, a UART-USB daughter board, and a UART-Ethernet daughter board.On the PLC-UART motherboard, there is a 20-pin receptacle, users can choose different daughter boards based on the interface needs. This 20-pin receptacle is pin-compatible with Xbee module from Digi (http://www.digi.com/). So an Xbee module can also be used on PLC-UART, and PLC-UART will become a powerline communication to a Zigbee bridge.

The new generation PLC-UART motherboard also supports DIP by optional pins that can be used to directly plug into a user's board (no screws required). The interface board signals, such as RS232/RS485/USB signals, are also routed back to motherboard through the 20-pin receptacle, and again to users' board through the DIP pins.

Powerline communication transceiver modules are transceiver modules designed to send/receiver serial data over the powerline network. PLC-UART is designed to transparently move serial data over the powerline network, and achieves the target of replacing cables by the ubiquitous powerline network.

These modules have a built-in packet-level repeater function. This feature can greatly extend the coverage of the powerline communication.

This module also has both physical and logic addresses. In a network, both physical and logic addresses can be used to address different nodes in the network.

Description: A broadband powerline communication module (5Mbps throughput on the powerline).
