This firmware is a 4 digit programmable down timer with output and reset. The uC is marked T5. Timing is in hours with a maximum programmable time of 10,000
hours (0000) which is 416 days 16 hours. It has four operating modes that control the output function when the timer reaches zero. Please note this item requires the CPS148 to work. This is only the firmware chip for CPS148.

firmware K148 (T1) - Simple Photographic Time

This timer was developed after an enquiry from a hobbyist who wanted a simple 60 second timer when printing photographs. At the end of 60 seconds a beeper or buzzer would sound to indicate ‘times up’. After some discussion about other photographic uses it was decided to add some extra ranges as well. We also decided on an open collector style output rather than an on-board buzzer. This enabled the kit to drive other
devices such as relays, making it more useful in other applications. Please note this item requires the CPS148 to work. This is only the firmware chip for CPS148.
