This is a fully assembled and tested miniature PIR module (KC7786 with KC778B COB IC) with only 3 connections: Power, Ground & Output (3 pin terminal of standard 0.1 inch pitch). Rated for 12VDC input power. Uses RE200B PIR sensor. Output is an active high pulse of approx. 0.5 seconds and remains active as long as there is motion. Range up to 10 feet. PCB size: 27mm x 27mm (BB043)

PIR Movement Detector
Circuit designed around a recently developed movement IC (KC778B). Circuit utilizes PIR detector and a light dependent resistor (LDR) to provide an optimized circuit that will detect motion up to 6 meters (18 feet) away. Operates on 9-12 VDC. Note that the PIR sensor & the PCB-mounted fresnel lens fit on the other side of the PCB; the solder side. This is to allow the unit to be mounted inside a container with the detecting lens poking out and the controls facing inside the box. PCB dimensions 3 inch x 2 inch. (CPS30)

IR Door Minder
This kit uses an infrared (IR) beam to monitor door & passage-ways or any other area. When the beam is broken a relay is tripped which can be used to sound a bell or alarm. Suitable for detecting customers entering a shop, cars coming up a driveway, etc. The IR beam is very strong. Distances over 25 yards can be monitored with this kit. A 12VDC unregulated supply is required to power the kit. A 12V wall adaptor is fine. Only one power supply needs to be used to power both units. The relays in this kit are rated to switch mains voltages. With power applied the relay is normally operated and only releases when the beam is broken. The relay contacts labelled “NO” (Normally Open) and “NC” (Normally Closed) refer to when the relay is released. The plastic tube is to put over the IR LED to direct its beam. This is needed when the barrier is only a few yards apart. IR transmitter PCB size:: 45mm x 30mm (1.77" x 1.18")
