The lens mounting comes with the camera. It is removed in the picture to show the Omnivision sensor. This camera includes a monochrome analog 60Hz output (EIA) in addition to the color digital output. The analog output is useful for viewing the image while setting up the digital output. The C3188A now uses omniVision's OV7620 sensor instead of the OV7610 that was used for the C3188.

C328R-2820BW JPEG Compression VGA Camera Module

The C328 JPEG compression module performs as a video camera or a JPEG compressed still camera. Users can send out a snapshot command from the host in order to capture a full resolution single-frame still picture (OV7660 sensor). The picture is then compressed by the JPEG engine (OV528) and transferred to the host.
