Opamp Function Generator
Documentation in Acrobat format
(K23)
Good value-for money & simple circuit to generate square, (pseudo) sine and triangle waveforms in the audio range. Uses quad opamp LM348.
You do not need a lot of money to have access to square, triangle or sine waves in the audio range. This simple kit uses four operational amplifiers (opamps) to deliver these waveforms in the 6 Hz to 7000 Hz range. The sine wave is a pseudo sine wave produced by a very simple wave shaping circuit.(CPS23)

Square Wave Oscillator LN/NE555 (inc box
Simple circuit to generate square waves of approximately 1Hz 10Hz 100Hz 1KHz 10KHz & 100KHz. A square wave generator is one of those pieces of equipment that has many uses in the workshop yet few hobbyists actually have. This simple kit, based on the popular 555 timer IC, generates six preset frequencies from 1Hz to 100khz. It has an operating voltage range of 5 to 18VDC and even provides visual indication of the output. The kit is constructed on a single-sided printed circuit board (PCB). The PCB size: is 78 x 50mm (3.1" x 2") and will mount on a small plastic 'Jiffy' box. (CPS111)

20 second voice recorder/playback module (A93010/A96010)
PLEASE NOTE: This module, part# A96010, could actually be either an A96010 or an A93010 depending on what is in stock at the time. Both are virtually identical and operate the same, but downloadable datasheets are available for each for comparison if necessary. The small size is because the IC is in Chip-on-board form. One button is pushed down to record the message through the on-board electret microphone; A LED turns on during this time. The other button just has to be momentarily pressed to replay the message. A second momentary press during playback will stop the playback. Sampling rate is 4K. All you have to add is the speaker (not included) and 5V DC power (not included). We also have an A96010-kit which in addition to the A96010 also includes a speaker and two cable connectors to connect the unit to a power supply (not included) and the speaker. The record/play time is determined by the 52K resistor. If you change it to 89K you will get 30 seconds but at a reduced sampling rate. Operating current 25mA. Standby current 10 uA. Size: 34 x 23 x 11 mm. The module comes supplied as you see it in the photo.
OPTIONAL ITEMS (Not included):
2 x (BB089) connector cable to connect the voice recorder to a speaker and power source.
1 x (PB244) Speaker
1 x Battery holder that can hold either 4 x AAA or 4 x AA or 4 x C or 4 x D cells. See our battery holders.
