Uses microcontroller and crystal for accurate low cost timing. a 4 digit LED multiplexed output display is used. 6 Types of firmware available. The standard included firmware chip (T0) with the module is a programmable down timer of 10,000 sec. Please note all other optional firmware chips (T1 to T5) are available seperately. Dual HI / LO Switching Relay Board

The kit is based around the ULN2003A IC, a 7-channel high voltage, high current relay driver. The inputs are TTL compatible so they can be connected to 5V. LO 0-0.8VDC. HI 2.4V - 12VDC. Operating voltage: 12V DC. The relay will be operated when either the LO input is low (0 – 0.8V) or the HI input is high (2.4V – 12V.). Two 12V relays, coil resistance 400 ohm are used. It is rated to switch 250VAC at 12A. However, because of the PCB track thickness and width we do not recommend using the relay to switch more than 5A. PCB size: 2 3/4"x1 3/4"

firmware K148 (T1) - Simple Photographic Time

This timer was developed after an enquiry from a hobbyist who wanted a simple 60 second timer when printing photographs. At the end of 60 seconds a beeper or buzzer would sound to indicate ‘times up’. After some discussion about other photographic uses it was decided to add some extra ranges as well. We also decided on an open collector style output rather than an on-board buzzer. This enabled the kit to drive other
devices such as relays, making it more useful in other applications. Please note this item requires the CPS148 to work. This is only the firmware chip for CPS148.

firmware k148 (T2) - Stopwatch with Pause

Another in the series of timer kits based on the K148 hardware platform. This is a classic stopwatch timer with a pause feature as well. Timing is in hours, minutes, seconds and hundredths of a second up to a maximum of ‘99:59:59.99’. An output signal which pulses low every minute is also available. Please note this item requires the CPS148 to work. This is only the firmware chip for CPS148.

This firmware is a 4 digit programmable down timer with output and reset. The uC is marked T4. Timing is in minutes with a maximum programmable time of 10,000 minutes (0000) which is 166 hours 40 minutes, or 6 days, 22 hours and 40 minutes.
