Tips on using the USB2M recorder:

Be sure to remove the plastic tab from under the switch, by pulling it out. The plastic tab is to prevent accidental playback during shipping of the module.

PLEASE NOTE: A96010 or A93010 is supplied depending on availability. Currently only A93010 is available and is the one that is been sold. A96010 is not currently available. The small size is because the IC is in Chip-on-board form. One button is pushed down to record the message. The electret microphone is on the board. The LED turns on during this time. The other button just has to be momentarily pressed to replay the message. A second momentary press during playback will stop the playback. Sampling rate is 4K. All you have to add is the speaker (not included) and 5V DC power (not included). The record play time is determined by the 52K resistor. If you change it to 89K you will get 30 seconds but at a reduced sampling rate. Operating current 25mA. Standby current 10 uA. Size: 34 x 23 x 11 mm. The module comes supplied as you see it in the photo.

Recording Module 20 second - card type

20 second card type recording unit. This module can be pasted (self-adhesive backing) into birthday cards, Christmas cards etc. When the card is opened your message will be played. You can record your own custom 20 second message with the built in microphone. The module is pre wired with a speaker and battery. All that is left for you to do is to record a message, past the module in your card and remove the little plastic tubing from the metal strip that protects the battery from running down when shipped from the factory.

Audio to light modulator kit

A music-to-light modulator is a circuit which controls the intensity of one or more lights in response to an audio input. The kit is ideal to give the rhythm to any party or disco without much money.
