The C3088 camera has the same schematic as the C3188A, except for the fact that an OV7620 is used in the C3188A, while the C3088 use a OV6620 sensor.

"The C3088 is a 1/4” color camera module with digital output. It uses OmniVision’s
CMOS image sensor OV6620. Combining CMOS technology together with an easy
to use digital interface makes C3088 a low cost solution for higher quality video
image application.
The digital video port supplies a continuous 8/16 bit-wide image data stream. All
camera functions, such as exposure, gamma, gain, white balance, color matrix,
windowing, are programmable through I2C interface.
In combine with OV511+, USB controller chip, it will be easily form a USB camera for PC application."

The lens mounting comes with the camera. It is removed in the picture to show the Omnivision sensor. This camera includes a monochrome analog 60Hz output (EIA) in addition to the color digital output. The analog output is useful for viewing the image while setting up the digital output. The C3188A now uses omniVision's OV7620 sensor instead of the OV7610 that was used for the C3188.

C328R-2225BW JPEG Compression VGA Camera Module

The C328 JPEG compression module performs as a video camera or a JPEG compressed still camera. Users can send out a snapshot command from the host in order to capture a full resolution single-frame still picture (OV76xx sensor). The picture is then compressed by the JPEG engine (OV528) and transferred to the host.
