A proven & popular power amplifier building block for use in any audio project. Power output is dependent on the supply voltage and load resistance. Over 10W is typical for a 16V supply into a 2 ohm speaker. A 12V supply into a 4 ohm speaker will deliver around 4W. Small heatsink provided. In late 2000 the LM383 was discontinued but the TDA2002 is a direct replacement for the LM383. (CPS47)

Audio to light modulator kit
 
A music-to-light modulator is a circuit which controls the intensity of one or more lights in response to an audio input. The kit is ideal to give the rhythm to any party or disco without much money. Very safe operation as it uses an opto-coupler as a coupling device between the audio and the mains controlling stages of the circuit.

This is a preamplifier and tone control unit
which will make a useful addition to any

easy to construct due to the use of a special IC,
the Philips TDA 1524A. This contains all the
circuitry required to provide up to 20 dB of
voltage gain, +/-15 dB of bass and treble
control, channel balance, and a switchable

Square Wave Oscillator LN/NE555 (inc box

A square wave generator is one of those pieces of equipment that has many uses in the workshop yet few hobbyists actually have. 1W Stereo Amplifier Module
 
Uses 2 LM386N-1 for a stereo amplifier. Ideal for walkman and other battery powered items. 4V - 12V DC. Instructions PCB and components supplied.

This is a 1 watt per channel, stereo amplifier module Kit using two LM386N IC’s from National Semiconductor. It is basically two of our CPS17’s on a single PC board, with a dual gang pot. It will operate best from 6-12V DC and will work well from a battery since the quiescent current drain is only 10 mA. It requires no heat sinks for normal use. The input and output are both ground referenced. Maximum output will be obtained with a 12V power supply and 8 ohm speaker, however it is particularly suitable for driving headphones from a supply as low as 4V. Speakers are not supplied. They should be rated at 3W or over. PCB size 63mm x 40mm (2.5" x 1.5"). (CPS115)

Mini-Vox and Relay kit
 
The idea behind a VOX (voice activated switch) is that instead of the user pressing a switch to activate a relay, the sound of the users voice itself activates the relay. VOX for automatic recording 6v kit
 
This is a very sensitive, sound or voice activated switch which plugs into the REMOTE plug of a tape recorder and turns it on when it detects a preselected level of sound. If the sound continues then the switch will self trigger and remain on. Once the sound goes away then a delay in the circuit will turn off the tape recorder after about 6 seconds. It is ideal for hands free operation of a tape recorder. It has a MIC input, a delay circuit and adjustable sensitivity. Battery holder for 4xAA batteries included.
